About JFF

The Royal Film Commission – Jordan (RFC) supports the activities and programs, which develop the potential of the independent local film industry, as well as its economic viability and continuity. To that end, the Jordan Film Fund (JFF) has been established to enable filmmakers to tell their stories, especially in Jordan.

The call for application and timeline for JFF's 9th cycle will be announced early May 2024.

The JFF Guidelines and Regulations document is meant to guide applicants seeking to submit a project for the consideration of JFF in its 8th cycle. It comprises essential information for applicants in two sections:

Section one: provides all applicants with information regarding the JFF budget, categories and amounts thereof, timeline, general information for all applicants such as eligibility and ineligibility, general conditions, past JFF applicants and grantees, selection process, the online application, and definitions.
Section two: provides detailed guidelines per category that comprises: the eligibility criteria, obligatory application requirements, specific regulations, RFC Agreement, and funding process.

This file is made for the 8th cycle of The Jordan Film Fund of 2023, and it will be updated yearly for each cycle.
