Since the 1960s, a doorman lives a routine life in an old villa, which became his private world, isolated from the madness of the outside world. However, his peace gets threatened by an overzealous young man, and before long, the elderly doorman finds himself in an unexpected .confrontation forcing him to face his past and rediscover himself again.

The film won three awards at the Cairo International Film Festival in 2022: The Henry Barakat Award for Best Artistic Contribution, the FIPRESCI International Competition Prize, and Best Arabic Film, and was nominated for the Golden Pyramid award for Best Film at the same festival. It also won Best Director and Best Actor (Sayed Ragab) and received a Special Mention at the Khouribga African Film Festival in Morocco 2023.
