Anwar Safa, 95 minutes, Comedy/Drama, Spanish with Arabic and English subtitles, 2015, Mexico. 

Set in the northern state of Sonora, Mexico, Jeremy (Jeremías), a misfit eight-year-old, finds out he is a gifted child and initiates a journey of self-discovery to find out what he wants to be when he grows up. When an opportunistic physiologist connects with Jeremías, a new world of experiences opens up to him but at the expense of being away from his ignorant and poor family whom he loves.  

The film won the Stories from Abroad Award at the Austin Film Festival (USA), 2015, and the Filmmakers under 30 years old award at the Guadalajara International Film Festival (Mexico), 2015. The film was also included in the shortlist for Mexico's entry to the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film at the 89th Academy Awards.
